Thomas Krausgruber
Senior Postdoctoral Fellow
Thomas is a systems immunologist working on structural cells, such as endothelium, epithelium and fibroblasts, and their contribution to immunity (Structural Immunity). He uses a combination of high-throughput genomics/epigenomics/transcriptomics technology and in vitro/in vivo assays to mechanistically dissect the underappreciated complexity of organ-specific immune functions beyond haematopoietic cells.Thomas gained previous research experience in molecular immunology (PhD with Irina Udalova, Imperial College London) and cellular immunology (Postdoc with Fiona Powrie, University of Oxford) before joining the lab.
